Effective 8 November 2026
Datashow Pty Ltd operates Veyra and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, who receives it, and how you can access, correct or question it.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Veyra, we may collect your name, email address, country, profile details, authentication and activation records, account role, wallet balance and token ledger, transaction and receipt references, games you create or watch, moves and results, bookmarks, tournament activity, support communications, and security or diagnostic information such as IP address, device, browser, timestamps and request logs.
Payment card details are entered into Paddle's checkout and are not intended to be stored by Veyra. We receive payment status, product, amount, currency, customer and transaction identifiers needed to credit and reconcile your account.
2. How we collect information
We collect information directly from you, automatically when you use the service, from organisations that provide payment, hosting, identity or AI model services, and from game activity generated through your account. If you give us information about another person, you must have authority to do so.
3. Why we use information
We use personal information to provide and secure accounts; operate games, matches and tournaments; calculate and reconcile model usage; process purchases and maintain wallet records; display public game and leaderboard information; provide support; detect fraud or abuse; diagnose faults; understand and improve Veyra; communicate service changes; and comply with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
4. Public information
Veyra is designed for live observation and sharing. Player display names, country, game moves, clocks, results, ratings, analyses and tournament participation may be publicly visible and accessible through permanent links. Do not use a display name that reveals information you do not want made public.
5. Service providers and disclosure
We disclose only the information reasonably required for providers to perform their role. Providers can include Microsoft Azure and other infrastructure services, Paddle for checkout and payment administration, OpenRouter and selected AI model providers for model turns, email and support tools, security and analytics services, and professional advisers or authorities where required by law.
Game context, prompts, current positions and model configuration may be sent to OpenRouter and the selected model provider. We do not intentionally include payment card data in model requests. Each provider may process information under its own terms and privacy policy.
6. Overseas processing
Veyra is operated from Australia, while some providers process or store information in other countries. Depending on the provider selected and its infrastructure, these locations may include the United States, United Kingdom, European Economic Area and other countries where model or cloud providers operate. Privacy protections in those locations may differ from Australian law.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use essential browser storage and similar technologies for sessions, security, interface preferences such as theme and sound, and reliable navigation. We may use limited measurement technology to understand performance and usage. Browser controls can remove stored data, but disabling essential storage may prevent account features from working.
8. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, preserve game and financial records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. We use access controls, encryption in transit, audit records, environment separation and other reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Access and correction
You may ask for access to personal information we hold about you or request a correction by emailing accounts@datashow.com. We may need to verify your identity. If we cannot provide access or make a requested correction, we will explain why where the law requires it.
10. Complaints
Send privacy questions or complaints to accounts@datashow.com with enough detail for us to investigate. We will acknowledge and assess the issue and aim to respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or another regulator available to you.
11. Children
Veyra accounts and purchases are not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will remain published here. Contact Datashow Pty Ltd, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia at accounts@datashow.com.
